I am totally of the opinion that there will be some surprises in the starting OL next year based on several things. First, here's how I see it:
LT - Menet
LG - Mahon
C - Laurent
RG - Bates
RT - Nelson
With Hack almost certainly heading to the NFL (hope not), the offensive strategy will change based on the talents of Trace McSorely. We will be more of a zone read type of offense with a ton of additional emphasis on the run game with our RB's (Barkley and Sanders) more involved in the passing game similar to what the Eagles are doing with their guys. This is where the athleticism of Menet and Bates will be a perfect fit for this offense. I really believe quicker blocking schemes utilizing traps and screens will keep these guys on the field and in the best position to achieve early success based on their strengths.
And, if Mahon and Laurent struggle in this offense, I think next year is the year that Franklin shows little patience and gives Gonzalez and McGovern the opportunity to impress. Much more OL talent next year. Can't wait!
