JHU joined the Big Ten as a sports affiliate in lacrosse. This gave the Big Ten lacrosse (6 teams with Hopkins) for 2015 with the winner getting an automatic bid to the tourney.

I wish that JHU joined in women's lax as well. Even though we didn't need them to get to 6 teams, there would be a nice symmetry in having their only two Div 1 sports in the Big Ten, which would help to justify their associative membership.

Also, would be cool if they joined the CIC as well.
