Do you know that I follow each of the wrestlers that have signed, or verballed, to PSU, in the pinned post titled Postseason schedule for signed or verballed wrestlers?

I hear ya, curious first to see if Mason can win a spot post Hall or if we bring in a Carter Starocci or Baby Ruth for that 174 spot? I’d have to believe Mason’s experience decides if we land a really, really young Carson, few years to decide.
Doubt it'll be Edmond. Already 182 for much of the year, 170 postseason. Will very likely grow right into a 184 conflict with Brooks.
Also don't think Manville precludes Starocci, just lessens urgency. So many variables with Manville right now: is he really a 165 or 174? Will he take a 2020 Olympic shirt for Greco? Will the Army let him shirt at all? Etc.
If he never shirts. then he might only have 1 yr of overlap with Starocci.
One other note: if Carson's goals are similar to Mason's, it might work out anyway. Of course Mason wants to start -- he also wants to be an Olympic athlete and an Army intel officer -- on track for both of those goals, with a free education.
Really wish Spyker were here as he had regular conversations with Mr. Manville at weekend tournaments as well

My approach, which I've been consistent with, is to update each wrestler's postseason, at each step in the process, in the pinned Postseason schedule for signed or verballed wrestlers thread, and also create a unique thread for each when they have their State Championships (or for Beard, the National Preps).
Other posters have created threads for signees/verbals before they reach States. If that's what they want to do, it's fine. It's possible they were not aware that I was posting weekend summaries in the aforementioned thread. Perhaps I should modify the Subject line to Postseason schedule/results ...
