I'm sorry if this was already posted, but sounds like Dwumfour had a pretty good visit with Michigan. What do you think our chances of keeping him committed? I hate losing these DT's especially when we are so thin at the position already.

I personally think we will lose him, hopefully Franklin and company can pull another "Windsor" come signing day.

He didn't commit to MI when he was there so I think our chances are good.

Discussed before. Michigan probably wants him to greyshirt and maybe be insurance in case they don't get Gary. We need him, they don't. I think he sees that. If he's that thick he'll never get through college.

I hope you are right PSU_1991. I just don't like the fact of them having to move some DE inside. I think that could possibly take away the effectiveness from a TRUE DT standpoint.

Someone can delete this thread (not sure if I can). I was way late on this train. Sorry guys

You do know he and Gary are best friends...basically he's not an insurance policy for Gary...

Smart move by Michigan.

Dwumfor and Gary are supposedly close friends.

Michigan thought they had Gary locked up.

Then, the Mississippi bag man came around and Gary took a visit to Southern Cal.

After the USC visit, he stated it was a 'game changing' experience.

Michigan has to know what is going on.

Michigan offers Dwumfor. Now they can suggest to Gary that he can play with his bud.

If Gary goes elsewhere, they still have a decent DT for depth or starting down the road a few years. Denies a conference rival a position of need.

The fact he did not decommit after the Michigan visit/commit to Michigan, and is still supposed to come to PSU this weekend offers some ray of hope.

If he visits on the 22nd with everyone else, Im guessing he stays committed.

I think he ends up at PSU...for a number of reasons. It is cool to play with your buddy and all but his chances of being a solid player are better at PSU. We are...

PSU is not in the drivers seat even though he did not commit. He also seems to have a coach that win't just allow him to do the typical decommit via Twitter. PSU has a chance to sway him, but I think his "business decision" tweet 2 weeks ago and vist kind of tell the story. I think UM and Gary's old coach are using him as an insurance card for Gary to be honest. Franklin,Pry, and Spencer have a lot of work to do. He is very pro UM right now.

And you say this based on.......

Reading more than this free site. Look at his Twitter if you need validation of what I said. I don't make things up. Seriously, in my 2 decades with Tom's site do I have a history of lying? Anything can happen, but UM made a big jump last weekend. Same with Hudson. The staff has some work to do.

Gary made the decision not to play his senior year of HS with his 'best friend.' I doubt he's making his college decision based on where Dwumfour goes as well

We do have a new co-defensive coordinator in place to help counter honky Harbaugh. Franklin never sleeps.

Did you read my post?

I never said Gary would go to Michigan because Dwumfor may commit.

I said that Dwumfor may be a small increment of reason to sway Gary and that if Gary chose to go elsewhere, Dwumfour would be good depth.

Odd thing is victory bells article on Bleacher report states nether Nordin or Dwumfour has a committable offer according to a UM source. Grey shirt for both would be my guess? If so, hopefully this weekend goes well for PSU.

Did I quote your post? Or do you just assume every post in a thread is a response to you?
