UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; Oct. 26, 2015
– The Nittany Lions travel to Northwestern for the first time since 2011 for a noon kick on ESPNU.

The Penn State-Northwestern contest also airs on the Penn State Sports Network (10:30 a.m. airtime) and GoPSUsports.com. The Northwestern game will mark the Nittany Lions’ eighth appearance of the season on an ESPN/ABC network.

Penn State is 13-4 all-time against Northwestern, including a 6-2 mark in Evanston. The Nittany Lions dropped a 29-6 decision to the Wildcats on Homecoming last year. The last time the teams squared off at Ryan Field, Penn State picked up a 34-24 win in 2011. Silas Redd ran for 164 touchdowns and Matt McGloin threw for 192 yards and two scores. The win was the 408th of Joe Paterno’s career, tying him with Eddie Robinson for the most wins in Division I history.

Tickets for the Nittany Lions’ home finale are available. Penn State hosts Michigan on Nov. 21 for Senior Day and a Penn State WhiteOut. To purchase tickets or for more information, fans can visit PSUnrivaled.com, call 1-800-NITTANY or visit the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office weekdays from 10 a.m-6 p.m.
