If you need to get jacked for this game, just listen to the Michigan Insider's podcast linked below. They spent more than half of their air time talking about the scandal....Click on segment #13

John U. Bacon actually says that he believes that what happened with JS was "worse than murder"......and this is someone who has links to Penn State.....

Isn't it funny how opposing B1G teams' fans just can't seem to focus on anything but child abuse as a Penn State game approaches. The more likely their team may lose, the more morally superior they become.....If they really believed in their simpleton logic, they would have to hate all Catholics and have to forgo seeing another Hollywood produced movie ever again. Otherwise, one would have to suspect their "selective outrage" just a bit.

Yeah, they're hypocrites, actually.

Why bother going to the trouble of specifically quoting bullshit from a bullshitter so we can read what he had to say? "If you need to get jacked up for the game, just click this link and hear what this bloward had to say about Penn State and Sandusky." Simple, no?

I'm sorry, but I'm missing your point.

No matter what they say, they don't give a crap about "The kids". They just hate that Penn State's football team is doing good. They're football fans and can't stand that we're ranked #2 and kicking all kind of ass.

Can't really get worked up since I'll be away from the TV the entire evening and will have my phone off. Last time I wasn't able to watch a game live Robinson and Hackenberg willed us to victory - hoping for the same result.

Forgot one. Nervous just like going into any game. Confident we will beat them!

I can't remember what coach said it, but I think of this all the time. I think of it when I am about to make a huge customer presentation.

The key to the game is preparation. If you practices and prepared as hard as you can, then you should have confidence going into game time. You then execute, as best you can, on the field of play. If you win, you accept with grace and humbleness. If you lose you tip your hat to the better team.

Why worry about it? We prepared, we play hard, the rest is out of out team's control.

John U Bacon is the ultimate, ultimate UM slappy who wrote a book about UMs return to glory after they hired Harbaugh before Jim even coached a game.

Typical from him, because he knows UM isn't that good this year, so instead of making this game about the 2017 season, he'll do whatever he can to make it about something else.

Michigan is that good MOST years. They're like an urban legend.

Leading up the MSU at UM game--there was a quiet confidence amongst us MSU fans.

I had some pre game convos with UM fans on why I thought MSU had a solid chance to win...and my argument was basically this: I think UMs players are overrated and simply not as good as people make them out to be. Period. No in depth analysis--just you aren't as good as you think you are.

JD-- I have witnessed that very conversation a number of times when I lived in MI. I'm only sorry I left there before Dantonio really went on a roll against those pompous ahs...

How convenient that michigan athletic supporters bash Penn State about sandusky, who was retired from the university and had nothing to do with football, all the while forgetting about gibbons/lewan and jenson.

is there something between "pulling off a miracle" and "totally chill"?

I am cautiously optimistic. I believe we are the better team if we show up, execute and don't turn the ball over.

That podcast is over 5 years old

No It was recorded on 9-6-12, over 5 years ago. Might want to actually follow the link or at least look at it.
"Truth" is that the site was established in 2012. The podcasts are all current. Might want to actually follow the link or at least look at the podcast dates shown on the site once you click on the link. Oops......

If you are right, it looks like the Michigan fan station has discovered the secret of time travel because all of the discussions in these podcasts have to do with the 2017 game. Hail to the time travellers!

No apologizes necessary.
