Also if the signing bonus is large it's tough to cut him with out a nasty cap hit in the first few years. Basically makes the non guaranteed money guaranteed .

If Adrian had ANYTHING to do with this than the Bears’ Management is even dumber than everyone here in Chicago thinks they are.
That being said, a HUGE step-up for the Bears.....their receiving corps had to be the worse in the entire NFL last year.
Yes. You might remember him making an audible into a quarterback sneak that went for like 75 yards.
I'm not saying it had to do with management. I'm saying Amos was probably in his ear. I mean, if a team was letting you walk and one of your best friends plays on a team that has little to no receivers, a good young QB & RB.. I think it was a no-brainer.
From what I have read he decided on Trubisky over Flacco.
LOL. Well then they don’t need Robinson’s skills much because Douglass is primarily a running QB. Maybe because of Arob’s blocking prowess?
I will contend to the day I die that the 1968 KU team was better than any of the miserable Chicago Bear teams that Douglass got stuck with in 1969 and beyond!

I would not be surprised if Robinson talked to Amos on his own, plus teams usually encourage their players to talk to prospective free agents.
I am just bummed he didn't sign with the Niners....Jimmy G is legit, Shannahan is legit, he would have been set up to do big things out here.
