I'm down in BMore county... and there's A LOT of sweating going on about their next HC. It's ALL over the radio this morning on the way to work.
Long story short... none of the figureheads want Locksley, he's really done nothing as HC - I think that's fair. However, he's a GREAT recruiter in the region. DHaskins has been tweeting if ML is out... he's out. I think it poor planning if you ultimately let your recruits dictate your long-term planning, but what hurts your enemy helps you. I believe ML has some history with JF... ML is an OC; how good, I don't know... I'll leave that to the talking heads here debate that.
However, could MLocksley be a legitimate OC for us... if a non-threatening OC to HC is wanted in the role, then he fits that role as well... but I think that would be a lesser criteria.
They're REALLY struggling down here with the HC... they're talking to some other notable names, not many, but seemingly at a crossroads with Locksley. It's said that if HC is not his gig, he's out... no matter what... almost like an LJ for us... so thoughts?
