Today’s high is 1 degree F, tonight’s is -10 in Minneapolis. Yuck.

Next weekend looks better. Who is braving the cold to watch the Big Ten Championships live at Williams Arena?

We Are....

7 tickets, only 6 going I think.
Looking forward to it!
Weather is going to be warmer, but they are talking possible snowstorm, so keep that in mind.

Yes, we're watching the weather too. Some in our group are flying, from different departure spots, all east coast. The rest are taking a bus. Pittsburgh and Washington, for Friday flying look ok right now.

I’m looking forward to Big Tens in Minny !!!
Looking forward to a dozen or so matchups that never happened during dual season.

And hopefully some warmer weather.

Woke up this morning to -18F.
Time for coffee. Glad I’m inside.

I'll be there. Brining an Iowa friend to sit with in the Penn State section :)

So will he be wearing Steelers gear so he has the right colors but will be safe from our nastiness? :D

I will be there. BIGs in many ways are a better tournament to attend than NCAAs. Competiton is almost as good and only 4 mats so much easier to follow the action. Plus we always get seats in the lower bowl for BIGs.

I've been to the BIG's before and the PSU section guys and gals are always nice. I'm sure that they will treat him nicely.
By the way this will be my first NCAA championship so don't tell me the BIG's are just as good. Looking forward to Pittsburgh.

NCAAs are awesome, but with 8 mats you can't follow all of the action. Me personally for NCAAs I use the brackets and circle all of the matches I want to follow for each session.

The Big10s rotate through all Big10 schools.
Minnesota weather rotates a little, but a March day in Minneapolis regularly sucks.

will be there with brother, his s-i-l and his grandson.

I’ll be there as I live in town. I’m extremely excited about attending. Advice to those staying in hotels in one of the downtowns - hop on the light rail green line as it will take you right to Dinkytown (Gopher campus).

damn youth tournament keeping me from the cities this coming weekend. senior dual friday night. Hope ya'll enjoy it!

Never got above zero, at least here in south central Minnesoooohta. Probably gonna be snowy next weekend. No matter... nothing would keep us away from The Barn next weekend!!

Thanks. What station to get off at?

I'll be there, with a few more.

Weather forecast now is 5-8" Saturday night
1-3" Sunday

hah. any day in pa sucks by some. its relative. are you wrestling fans men or mouse? who cares about weather. you are not on a basketball court silly sallies

Post social/wrestling get together at Surley Brewery... mark your calendars now.. great brewery.. about a 10 minute Uber from DT area..

This might be one of the best things I've seen, but two things - 1. It's "Surly" (if you're googling) and 2. There are 120 breweries in MN (and counting). I'd branch out and find the brewpubs and breweries within downtown. There is some spectacular beers in this area.

That also means I'm raising my hand, this will actually be my first Big Ten's. I'll be there day 2 after I fly back from VA from D3's.

Just a PSA for folks... Daylight savings starts this Sunday, March 10 (spring forward)... would hate for anyone to show up an hour late for Session 3.

Look forward to seeing folks in Minneapolis!

Well it is suppose to warm up some for week end..They are tracking the storm and it might be lots of rain to start which would help for snow total. Dam have so much already had around 45 inches in Feb..Drive safe have a fun time. Sounds like it is a sell out so should be a nice crowd around 16,000.Only light snow on Sunday hopefully.

I'll be there, with a few more.

Weather forecast now is 5-8" Saturday night
1-3" Sunday

All you have to do is wait a few hours for the forecast to change. Per Accuweather Saturday is cloudy, snow possible and Sunday is the same, with no mention of any accumulation so basically the forecast is somewhere between sunny and a foot of snow. o_O

Surly is correct.. going to see what bottles of Darkness they may have available for on site consumption.. such a great beer..

Of course, you are right, the weather forecast changes all the time.
Mine hasn't changed much though since my last post.
Saturday Rain changing to snow 1-3"
Saturday night Snow 3-5"
Sunday Snow 1-3"

Hope it's wrong, but it's been fairly reliable this nasty winter.

oops, I thought this roll call was for March 2020.
Already booked hotel for then and will be able to walk indoors the entire way to US Bank Stadium via the SkyWay (skywalk).

We're 90 miles SW of the Goopher campus. Current local forecast for Saturday per Weather Channel is 100% chance of snow, 8-12 inches expected, winds 20-30 mph.

For those of you saying, "ugh," people here are saying, "All right, 31° !" ;)

Accuweather says 37 degrees and 2-4 inches of snow. I like that forecast better.

CC. I hope you’re staying in town on Saturday night. Could be a brutal drive home across the prairie.
We are indeed! Booked a room when we got our B1G tickets just for the fun of it, and looks like a good thing we did... not sure we could've gotten home Sat night if we'd wanted to on these country roads.
