Minny tonka vs tcu.. what exactly is a hold?

So the tv is going to focus on the wonderful big ugly from TCU and his great block on the Minny LB (leading to as TD)... and i'm watching and asking.. what the hell constitutes holding?. yeah, he's got his hands inside the pads... but from halfway behind the LB.... kinda looked like holding to me, but i'm sure i must be mistaken.

wow.. guess we're not the only b10 team that gets screwed... ref was looking dead at the play and called it a catch. if kill doesn't call time, play goes on. simply awful.
