Well, OK, but remember that Descartes is considered the father of the modern philosophical concept of dualism (the mind is something other than physical) in an attempt to avoid the otherwise inevitable conclusion that we are only material, and hence there is no soul.

You're welcome. I never studied the math necessary to fully understand the arguments here beginning with the Hamiltonian H, but I'm sure some others here have and might enjoy this.
