Mom trying to get Co-Eds to date her son....by approaching them on campus...

FWIW, House speaker, Paul Ryan’s sister in-law found her daughter a private cleaning service to clean her daughter’s dorm room once a week. (I know because my kid was 2 doors down the hall)
It's creepy as hell that you know that and think you should repeat it.

She could go around bragging about the size of his manhood and telling girls what a good kisser he is... that wouldn’t be creepy at al.

No. Because he’s a grown-ass man kvetching about how some college kid cleans her room.

Firstly, he didn’t expose that a privileged kid couldn’t be bothered to clean her own dorm room. A private cleaning service in a dormitory is odd and is going to stand out like a sore thumb. I’m sure lots of people knew about it. You think the other kids on the floor signed NDA’s? Secondly, it goes to illustrate how out of touch the political class is with respect to the rest of us. People go to Washington as successful but normal working Joes and leave multi-millionaires. It’s a sick, broken, corrupt system that warps people’s views on life - case in point, a college kid who needs a freaking cleaning service.

What are you morons talking about with this NDA stuff? And, you do realize that we’re talking about Paul Ryan’s sister in law, and not an actual politician? You and Ned are frickin weird.

I guess when you look at the bigger picture, it isn’t a surprise. We have had parents hassling profs for years now about their kids’ grades. Parents demanding to be present at job interviews for their college graduate kids have often been accomodated with closed circuit TV viewing rooms. Where will it end ?
There must be a psychiatric term for this sort of attachment disorder.

LOL! And I’m sure you never criticize an 18 year old football player, right? I see, the criticism ends when it hits one of the politicians or family members you care about. And if you don’t think his sister in law and her husband, Ryan’s brother I assume, haven’t benefited from his position, well, I don’t know what to say.

I love how the definition of 'harassment' has devolved over the years... seriously asking someone if they would be interested in dating your son is harassment? The lady appears to be of Asian decent, and if memory serves me correctly arranged marriages are still happening all over Asia, so why does this surprise anyone?

In general, harassment can be construed as any unwanted interaction. Keep in mind that this woman also entered University property to seek out girls to date her son. So, add trespassing to that.

Arranged marriages still happen, both in Asia and the Asian communities in the West. The difference is that in an arranged marriage, the parents of the two parties meet and discuss the arrangement, and then the kids meet. That is not the situation here.

Harassment used to be 'repeated' unwanted interaction.

Towson is a publicly funded university, so how can this be 'trespassing'?

I know how arranged marriage typically are formed... just saying this could be a 'cultural' difference the lady doesn't understand.

It may be publicly funded, but that doesn't mean anyone and everyone has the right to walk into any building they want. I can't walk into a dorm or lab of a public University just because I pay taxes.

I know it’s totally pathetic but I actually know a mother who moves in with her daughter cooks and cleans and hangs out with all the kids.

Twisted.

My daughter had a friend who’s mom got a motor home and stayed near the college for the first month of her daughter’s freshman year so she could be close by. Weird.

This could work out OK for him. She can't be upset if he lands the sort of girl you don't take home to mom.

From reports she wasn't going into dorms, or classroom buildings... she was in a building similar to The HUB and in common areas outside... areas considered 'public'. If she were in dorms or classroom buildings, security could escort her out... just saying.
