Geeze 3 years ago most people on this board never really heard of the guy. I take it as an opportunity for Shoop to coach defense in the SEC east which will be much easier than our Big Ten division the next couple of years. Perhaps it gets him a shot at the Vandy job again in 2 years or even a better head coaching gig. Time for Penn State fans to stop the trash talking and support Coach Franklin and the program. We need to hold onto this recruiting class and it sounds like attract at least one good coach this week. With the national coaches' convention this week I expect plenty of quality coaches to reach out to our head coach. Thanks Coach Shoop and good luck reaching your head coaching goal. However, since I never liked orange and hate that Rocky Top song, my support is 110 percent behind the next man up at Penn State.
