OK, let's move on to some constructive stuff. JM now has had time to meet his players and formed an opinion on individual strengths and weaknesses based upon film review. Of course spring practice will add much more knowledge to him. Media stories have stated that the new enrollees will have the benefit of reviewing his playbook. To me it seems that JM's PSU playbook should still be under development, and these kids don't have anything yet as well as the guys who have been here. I assume it's a big job to install a new offense and the real nut cutting won't start until spring practice when he can stand in front of these kids and explain his philosophy and playbook. Perhaps I am making the whole process too complex. Hopefully some of you coaches out there can explain what stands before JM and the kids. I would like replies to be a civil discussion of the offensive playbook and philosophy.....please.
