MSU to host BIGs in 2018

I realize you know this NoVa, just sharing for others...

The venue is responsible for ticket sales, so they'll be available only through the MSU Ticket Office. Each school has managed sales slightly differently in the recent past, though I suspect it'll be January until tickets are available.

Big Ten's are awesome, if anyone is thinking of going...
-- Closer to the action than NCAA's
-- Never sells out, guaranteed (almost always) to sit with fellow Penn Staters
-- Wrestling is top-notch, many of the best in the country wrestle in the B1G
-- Less expensive, tickets run less than $50 per, vs $200 +/- for NCAA's, depending on location (excluding suites, of course)

If you are driving, and want to pick up some great beer and/or have a bite to eat), I highly recommend stopping at:

From the East:
Old Nation in Williamstion, MI (20 minutes from MSU) - M43, Boss Tweed - Best NE IPA's in MI - can have lunch as well
- can find M43 in most places that sell beer, but Boss Tweed and some others are brewery only

From the West:
Transient Artisan Ales in Bridgman (just off 94, a little over 2 hours from MSU) - really great IPA'S, PA's, wild ales, saisons - check their hours though, often don't open until 4
Founders in Grand Rapids - can have lunch, and pub only beers available (a little over an hour from MSU)

In East Lansing:
Breakfast/Brunch, and good bar food Beggar's Banquet
Beer Hopcat
Mexican el Azteca
I'll add some more later

MSU isn't quite that bad. They had 3 placers at BIG last year, including a finalist, and none of them were seniors.
Yeah, we were having a little fun, given their fall from even mediocrity. My opinion is that there are signs of improvement, and a return to being really good is great for college wrestling.

Guessing they'll score more points than NW and Purdue??

Really hoping Michigan State can get out of their funk. Feel bad for the guys.
