Martin (PA RB/ATH)

Regarding Martin, if you have not seen the recent interview with Speca on the other site it's work a listen. Speca said Martin is his best friend and went to great lengths about how big Martin is and the number of positions that Martin could play at a high level.

I say Jordan Thomas, the #1 recruit in the state of NJ. Defensive Tackle. We have got to start recruiting NJ better, and especially the DTs in our area.
Interesting that Jordan Thomas' 247 profile records on his time line all the offers he has received, but only 1 visit, and unofficial visit to PSU last April.

Seems kind of strange for the #1 player in NJ. Have to hope he makes his way to PSU in the near future and/or during the Spring practices.

Although they are hard to find in quality and quantity, it seems that the staff is likely looking for 3 DT's in the 2024 class.

Don Bosco Prep, where Thomas is at, the other day.

Shy of hiring a guy who coaches at one of the schools, this is getting your foot in the door.
Sometimes that doesn’t even work. When Schaino returned to Rutgers he hired two guys who were head coaches at the large N Jersey parochial schools for his staff. They produced zilch in top recruits and were recently let go, but then again that’s Rutgres.

Very true. Also, hiring one could alienate the other schools and as you said, then you get nobody.

It worked for Michigan and landing Rashan Gary. But to your point, it's Butgers.
