Penn State wrestlers, in the finals, under Cael Sanderson, as of today, are 16 wins and 10 losses, in the past 7 years.

Another myth, destroyed.

Losses:
1. Dake over Molinaro
2. Jenkins over Taylor
3. McDonough over Megaludis
4. The staller over Megaludis
5. Bosak over Wright
6. Perry over Brown
7. Imar over Jason
8. Martin over Nickal
9. Dake over Taylor.

I"m pretty sure that it stands exactly as I said it did.

No that it needs rebutted, as anyone that espouses this belief is a total mouth-breathing moron, but another myth that took a big hit this weekend would be the "Cael can't coach" myth. Two freshman win titles over guys that beat them earlier in the season. The means they got better as the season went on. That means someone coached them up.

You are forgetting Vallimont in 2010 and McIntosh in 2016.

And you wonder why people mock you and no one takes you serious... you spout off about being right and sound like a arrogant jerk that couldn't possibly be wrong... immediately are called out and shown that you were wrong again. Change your tone and be open to being wrong once in awhile and people would actually respect you.

I count 16 wins and 11 losses

Taylor 2-2
Ruth 3-0
Q Wright 2-1
Megaludis 1-2
Retherford 2-0
Matt Brown 1-1
Molinaro 1-1
Nolf 1-1
Nickal 1-1
Hall 1-0
Joseph 1-0
McIntosh 0-1
Dan Vallimont (Cael's first year) 0-1

It's a message board, and the fact that you pile on somebody, makes you a joke. It's not me. Act like a human being and maybe YOU will be taken seriously.

Vallimont also lost in the finals (2010 I think) -- to Andrew Howe if I'm not mistaken at 165 lbs. So that makes it 11 losses.

Going by seeding, Penn State was "expected" to go 13-14.

Cael bumped that to 16-11. Not bad

They were "upset" three times (Taylor 2011, McIntosh 2016, Nickal 2016), and pulled out "upsets" six times with Wright 2011, 2013, Ruth 2014, Hall 2017, Joseph 2017, Nickal 2017.

Penn State was expected to win:
Taylor 2011, 2012, 2014
Ruth 2012, 2013
Molinaro 2012
Brown 2015
Megaludis 2016
Retherford 2016, 2017
Nickal 2016
McIntosh 2016
Nolf 2017

and Lose
Vallimont 2010
Taylor 2013
Ruth 2014
Molinaro 2011
Megaludis 2012, 2013
Wright 2011, 2012, 2013
Brown 2013
Nolf 2016
Hall 2017
Nickal 2017
Joseph 2017

This seems unnecessarily harsh

If you were being serious I would answer your question.
I'm respectful and serious. You'll have to excuse me. I'm very literal, halfway to rain man. I like to see arguments step by step.

The thing is, if there was a myth that Cael's wrestlers choke, I would understand. But since that's not a myth I have heard, I do not understand. Sincerely and humbly.

Weak people on message boards, try to make friends by picking out posters who the clique dislikes, and pile on them, so they can gain favor from the clique.

Basic 8th grade girl psychology.
Wow that was also unnecessarily harsh. So I'm a grown up and don't give a f***k about what anyone in a "board" thinks about me. I was just pointing out that we can conduct ourselves with more class.

It was on TOS last year, and a few years ago, and it was on HR last year. Not sure if I can find the links or not. The argument was that the finals' records were not as good as they should have been and that they don't wrestle as well in the finals. And, as has just been proven by myself, and prop joe, that's a myth. 16-11 is a GREAT FINALS RECORD, considering that the finals are difficult to win, and we have been underdogs as much as we have been favorites.

It may, or may not be a myth, but allow me to destroy it, anyway, lmao.

Yes, our record in the finals matches (all matches?) is indeed phenomenal! - that's something we all agree on there!

21 can speak for himself, but I saw his reply to you as agreeing with you, that the other poster was unnecessarily harsh, and then explaining why the other poster decided to be so harsh.

I re-read the thread and you are right
