When does the NCAA Release the official Allocations for NCAA's. Is that before or after Big Tens?

They are before. Otherwise the conferences and wrestlers wouldn’t know what’s at stake during the conference tourney and in the case of the big ten, how much depth in seeding is required.

So any weight w 6-7-8 allocations:

Correct me if I’m wrong - weight is seeded 1 to 8, and byes are drawn at random ?

Ok.....I'll take a stab. Yes seeded 1-8. You may have meant what I'm about to say... The rest are drawn into the bracket which includes 2 names called bye. At least that's what I believe happens.

So...NEXT!! Someone can correct ME if i'm wrong.

If I'm right...stay silent. I'll make the usual assumption.

If I'm not mistaken, any weight with eight or more allocations is seeded all of the way through, because they wrestle to one below the allocations granted, to help somebody at each weight get one of the criteria for an at-large bid. (in order to be considered, you have to have two of top 33 RPI, top 33 CR, .700 WP, one win over somebody in the field, or one spot off automatic qualification)
