Not to be confused with ticket allocation. (that issue as been discussed at great length)

Im asking about the sections at NCAA that are assigned to each school. I have been told by a couple folks, that the sections a schools is assigned at NCAA is a direct result of the RECENT success of the program.

Example-- If a school has usually finish 15th to 20th has seats in the end zone, and then the same school goes on a 5-6 year run and finishes in the top 3, the section the school is assigned will be closer to the middle sections.

I have been to 2 NCAA in the 90's 1 in 2002, however, I have made NCAA every year now sense 2009. As you are aware PSU has had great success during this time frame ,and yet I have not seen a improvement is assigned seating sections. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that PSU sections have been horrible, but I would think that we would be inching towards the middle sections with the success of the program.

anyone have any knowledge of this process?

Winners of 7 out of last 8 has PSU sections in same corner as past 5 years if not longer....

PSU is just off center in section 204 for uppers and 104 lowers I believe.

204 & 205 upper deck.

In simplistic terms for Pittsburgh;
-- there are 34 sections total in the upper deck
-- 22 of them are around the "endzone", and not as good as 204/205
-- 6 are similar, just in the three other corners
-- 4 are "better", or 50-yard

Not bad at all.
