PSU and OSU off to great starts (OSU doing a great job on bonus points.....but they will need some major upsets along the way to beat PSU)

Okie State struggling a bit......very fortunate to get the come from behind win at 157, or they would be in a real bind

Okie State struggling a bit......very fortunate to get the come from behind win at 157, or they would be in a real bind

OSU was a bonus point machine in round 1....moved 6 through - but did it with 4 Pins, 1 Tech, 1 Major - - - for 16.5 points (lead PSU by 0.5 pts)

PSU got 8 out of 9 through.....16 points

VT moved 7 through, but only picked up one bonus point match (total of 9 points) More or less as expected - VT is very deep with quality, but not a lot of "top of the podium" dominators

Iowa and Okie St both underperformed a bit:

Iowa moved 6 through (tough break when their HVW was re-injured) Total of 11 points

Okie St moved 7 though Total of 10 points

Nebraska moved through 8 of their 10 wrestlers (13 total points) but I do not expect they will stay in competition for the team title as the tourney moves along
