Do you think this problem only exists in the state of Georgia? Sandusky's charity was tight with PA CYS wasn't it? In fact, PA CC CYS contracted work to JS' charity The Second Mile. Their directors and employees were mandatory reporters. They also had CC judges on their board. Somehow no one from PA DPW/CC CYS or TSM was ever charged with a single crime.
Somehow PSU admins who had no control over JS' access to kids and who reported both incidents outside of PSU were charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors (most charges were eventually tossed).
No one in the media thought something stunk about the above bizarro world playing out in front of them.
The system needs to be thoroughly investigated and cleaned up.
