New Fisker car looks pretty cool

It would be interesting to see if that's a base price you can actually get, and of course what goes into calculating that range.

Finally finished the whole video. As an engineer I really like the reduced part count (KISS), but I suspect a fair amount of them came from the suspension which affects ride quality.

For awhile Fisker's American division was located in the old Boxwood Road GM Plant in Wilmington, De. I had a student from Sweden who's dad came over to work on their initial designs. I think they went Ch 11 and maybe re-organized. That factory got rehabbed and is now an Amazon Distribution Center ( what isn't an Amazon Center anymore?)

Has an option of a bench seat in the front! Has to be the only production passenger car that offers a front bench seat.

There was nothing better as a young man then riding around with your arm around your girl. Or on her leg as she sat pressed up against you. Really builds the bond between a young couple.

Losing bench seats killed the drive in movie business, not video tapes or CDs. Who the hell went to drive ins to watch the movie? It is also why so many young people are waiting until nearly thirty to get married. And for the drop in birth rates!

And bench seats are a huge reason why girls love a guy with a pickup truck…….ones with bench seats, any way.

So if you have a kid you can’t get married off, get him/her one of these with a front bench. Will be married off and giving you grandchildren within a year!

Why I just might have to get one of these with front bench…….if I can just a woman dumb enough to put up with me😟

but does it come with a lumbar support option?

How does this affect PSU football?
you can buy six tickets and attend the game in a sedan instead of having to have three rows. By dong this, there will be much less single seat tickets to have to deal with.

Looks really cool, but it looks like it takes a while to get the trunk open and seems like it would be prone to breaking potentially? Also, as with any other BEV, I'm afraid some next generation battery that gets 400+ miles of range and can charge in 10 minutes is coming in 2-3 years.

that is a big issue with EVs. The tech is moving very fast. Toyota, and just about everyone else, is announcing battery "breakthroughs" so why buy now? Tesla just bought a company that was making mats that you could put down in your garage and have it wirelessly recharge your car. No need to plug it in.

I am of the opinion that EVs will drop in price by a huge margin in the next three years. Why? I think the "art" and "science" of putting together cars is lost on EVs. An EV is a battery, suspension and a lot of leather and glass built around an iPhone.. There isn't a lot of mystery to it. How do you differentiate?

I don't think the prices will drop too much until the materials needed to make the batteries drops. Given the amount of resources required to make the lithium the market for it needs to take a pretty big hit, and guess which government is about to start placing massive orders for it...
