Mark, with his fall against Ohio State is now tied for 22nd on the career victories (tied with Scott Moore) at 112. The 22nd position in wins for Penn State history may not sound impressive but it is considering the current limitations in matches. Since Cael began coaching, none of his athletes are in the top 10 for career matches wrestled. Ed Ruth and Q has 139 total matches and they are ranked 20th for total matches.
Mark has now moved to 7th in career Falls with 40 and this season passed Q.
His numbers are darn impressive for a guy who never took a redshirt year and went quickly to battle.
Cenzo has missed a lot of matches over the years and it hurts in the record books.
His legacy will be his individual matches and triumphs at the NCAAs. His match with Marinelli this year is in the top 5 Penn State matches for me.
We are blessed as fans to have what the last decade has provided.
