Nice update on Navarro Bowman's rehab/return

He's getting a lot of love in the Bay Area papers. Looks like he might be close to all the way back. Good for him.

He's been SO good as a pro. I recall him being pretty good at PSU, but somehow not as good as he has been in the pros. Is that accurate? Has his more than considerable success in the pros been at all surprising to you guys? This guy is just plain money, in my book.

well, keep in mind that our three linebackers in 2009 were Sean Lee, Navarro Bowman, and Josh Hull. We were absolutely stacked. It was a bit tough to truly stand out. I seem to remember Sean Lee getting a lot of the attention because many saw him as being the heir to Poz.

Both Lee and Bowman have looked fantastic so far this preseason. Lee was killing it against the Vikings and Hodges looked real good as well.

If all can stay healthy PSU is gonna be well repped at backer: Poz, Lee, Bowman, Hodges, Carson, Hull, Mauti and I'm sure I'm missing a few others.

Can't forget Hali and Wake

Last I heard Mauti may be getting cut, but the others are beasts.

Close to all the way back? I watched him in the 49er/Bronco preseason game Saturday and he was all the way back and more. He was all over the field and better than ever.

Also remember that he came out early. If he had stayed for his last year, he would have been outstanding.

Mike Hull is on the bubble of getting cut (Miami), due to numbers. He has played well and will certainly get picked up, or placed on practice squad.
