Nick is right.

As we wind down the semester at my high school I have one class of Freshman that is way behind the other classes in their work. All nice people- but also the embodiment of "The Covid Kids"- lazy, self-centered, tech dependent, mediocre, and distracted.

I will grab this and share on Monday. I like how he intimates that one undisciplined person can impact a group. In this class- that is the case as a few ringleaders consistently drive their friends off of the rails.

Will it work? Can't hurt to try....

Please send this to Mike Tomlin. The Steelers hzve had tremendous talent for fifteen years yet suck at playoffs.

He has zero discipline and has babied some of the biggest head cases in football. Rothelsburger, AB Brown, Leveon Bell, now Pickens. The list goes on and on…

Joey Porter Jr. epitomizes the culture problem. He should get an honorable mention on your list.

Last Steeler game I watched he had four penalties, two on one play. He acts like he isn't holding and grabbing but it is clear as day on replay. Such a raw talent. So poorly coached -- at PSU and now the Steelers, where he leads the team in penalties. Sad thing is that the penalties are unnecessary. It's just laziness. He can run with anyone. Superstar potential held back by the mental part of the game.

What do we hear repeatedly in response to undisciplined play? "We have to clean that up." Does it happen? No. Why? No consequence for bad behavior.

The players are now the boss.

It's like the parent trying to change the behavior of a toddler by reasoning with the child instead of withdrawing privileges. The parent fears the consequence. The child becomes the one in control.
