Saban wants a level playing field? That's funny.

I think the main point of the article is that NIL is not being monitored or governed in any manner right now - it's anything goes right now and that isn't necessarily funny at all.

I personally agree; but I doubt Nick wants a truly level playing field like the NFL.
 

They miss the good old days. (Wonder who the "orange and blue" team from Alabama was in this article...right after Cam was there, I believe...?) This is how the "South" was won...how Alabama became the greatest dynasty we've seen in modern football.

And NIL made it legal. Of course Saban is pissed...

Sure, but Saban is no Joe Paterno no matter how many championships he's won. It's widely believed that Alabama had its own version of NIL long before it was legit. It sounds like sour grapes now that others seem to be catching up.
