Good Nico interview. Funny story regarding his Dad's reverse psychology trick when Nico was young. On a video, Dad told young Nico if he didn't finish his food, he couldn't do his push-ups. Nico said he then did 20 not very good ones and said he loved his Dad. Nice story about their relationship.

Good luck Nico at the Olympic trials.

Interesting comment from Takedown Radio -

They said the Hodge Trophy is for the top wrestler of the year. They said they want to get a new Best Career Award initiated, named after Cael Sanderson. Good idea! Maybe the NLWC can support the effort to get it going.

In the radio interview, IMar said he is definitely considering moving up a weight, when asked if he would stay at 157.

That said, he also said there was a reasonable chance he might stay at 157. Bottom line was he thought the decision would probably be made closer to next season.

Plus, IMar will take time off and focus on the world's next year. He will not be at the Olympic trials, competing in Iowa City. He wants to improve his freestyle abilities.

I was surprised when I heard that. I thought for sure the whole reason he looked so out of whack this year was because he was trying to keep his body in tune to make 65 kg.
