Hopefully, knowledge posters will add additional information or stories about Teyon, who was in the corner for NLWC wrestlers at the Olympic Trials.

He was a resident athlete with the NLWC. Left to go into coaching, first at Binghamton, now at Wyoming.

2003 in KC if memory serves me right. True freshman Teyon Ware won a National Title and has exited the mat when a couple of cool Okie State fans jumped up and started singing "shoulda been a cowboy-shoulda learned to rodeo" to him while clapping at the same time.

Teyon had epic battles with our guy (Nate Gallick) several times. Gallick had unreal head and hands defense and I believe beat Teyon the final three times they met. Teyon had bested him before that on several occasions. Great low scoring matches. Probably very boring to anyone not heavily vested in either wrestler or team. Edge of the seat exciting for me.
