The Texans had no business in the playoffs. NFC East was shredded nationally all year as a horrible division, rightfully so. But the AFC South was far worse. It has been a wretched division for a decade. I really believe the Jags have a shot at it next year. With that defense it is indefensible to lose a home playoff game 30-0. House was bad but that was embarrassing. I realize the Chiefs were favored but it was only a couple of points. Losing 30-0 to Alex Smith at home should tell you something. As much grief as Franklin receives for his losses, people must have forgotten 63-14 in Columbus. Losing at a bad Indiana team. Losing to Ohio and a bad UVA team. All with veteran talent. I'm not saying Franklin is the answer, but some folks have an awfully short memory. OB got out before the talent dropoff hit, that's his prerogative and right.
