He was the huge black guy that the police attempted to arrest for selling loose cigarettes. The media portrayed it as the police choking him to death but watch the video....the cop had his arm around Garner's neck for less than 10 seconds, not enough time to choke any one. Autopsy showed he died of an asthma attack.
His death was one of he sparks for Black Lives Matter, falsely claiming he was choked to death. Like other deaths, his was used for political purposes and did much damage to race relations and to our country.
Its tragic that he died while being arrested. And the cop may have over reacted in jumping on the guy when he turned to walk away. If he hadn't resisted he would have lived. Shame a tragic death was used to divide the country.
