In all seriousness, what's everyone's thoughts on the time-line. One of the mods from TOS stated in an article that he believes the hire will be made before the bowl game. The new OC will not coach in the bowl, the play-calling duties will be handled by either Bowen or Limegrover or both. But they want the new OC named before the bowl.
Might have something to do with the circumstances of the coaches current team?Are they in bowl prep etc.That is of course if he is going to hire outside.

I would think only reason an offensive coordinator couldn’t be named until after Bowl season is if that person had a major role in one of the 4 playoff teams and didn’t want to distract himself or the team. Nobody cares about any of these other bowl games or results.

I agree no coordinators are coming from there to here but a QB coach or other offensive assistant looking to make the jump to offensive coordinator sure might. I don’t know if Franklin is even looking down there but if he was there would be interest from those type of coaches looking to take a step up
