Timeouts were 3 minutes long at the game. Need to fill that time with commercials. It's all about the networks making more money, not about shortening the game.

I agree it's all about monet but it has slightly shortened the games with no real impact to it. With the money the networks are paying I'm not sure why anyone would complain about that.

Definitely…. Commercial time is worst now. No way the networks will let a broadcast go less than 3.5 hrs. Commercial time is horrible now! The rule change was for tv and not for competition sake!
