Penn State is not, and have not been, physical under Franklin. Speed and athleticism alone won't win all games especially in the big ten. Wheres the blue collar, dirty work players? Thorpe on the o-line. There's teams in the big ten with better athletes than Buffalo who play old school football. Those teams will hit hard, tackle well etc. Where is the grit going to come from on this team? It's only the second game but I'm having trouble finding that grit. I think a lack of grit also applies to blowing 4th quarter leads as we have seen the past couple of years. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see any Trey Bauer, Benfatti, Wisniewski types.
