Bergen Catholic was already without state champion Robert Howard and state placewinner Dylan Cedeno, who did not weigh in.
Howard, who was out with a shoulder injury since the Beast of the East in December, came back Wednesday in Bergen Catholic’s tight 36-29 win over St. Joseph (Mont.). Cedeno (groin) is close to a return, but Howard’s status is up in the air.
“Robby came back Wednesday, wrestled and didn’t feel the stability,” said Bell. “He went back and had another MRI yesterday. He’s waiting on his results. He still has pain. It’s better, but they just want to be certain.”
