And I thought Andonian might be done for the year. Glad to see him back and will have to watch this replay.

Me too. Kid is so much fun to watch! Thought he might redshirt but with 157 so wide open it makes sense for him to go if he’s healthy

Andonian is one of my absolute favorites outside of the blue and white.

In him, I see a bit of Jason Nolf without the benefit of Cael's coaching.

Scott was game and went after him, but Andonian was just nuts. It doesn’t get any better than that, especially with Rock Harrison on the call. This dual is something I look forward to every year now. It has been a good one to showcase if we want to rope in more newbies/casual fans to the sport.

Fun match where two guys capable of big moves/throws were both willing to take risks and just went after it.

The Coleman ranking/result kinda comes with an asterisk, though. Guy is historically inconsistent, and watch his match vs. Rathjen (or was it Reyna) of Iowa a couple weeks back. Oof.

Oh I definitely agree. I just think it makes it clear how weak 157 is this season. Robb is legit and if O'Connor and Andonian are both healthy they are legit threats, but none of them are close to unbeatable. This weight is definitely there for the taking IMO

Two nearfall points for Barnett against Lee. And then Lee pins him.

Ramos needs to stall his way into the 3rd period against Lee and then let it fly for the last minute.

That’s the only guy and way I give a 1% chance against Lee.

If Levi wins a title at 157 and one of our HR guests down the road suggests Levi's greatness is slighted because 157 in 2023 was rather weak
this board will shyt itself.

Saw a recent article about Courtney -- he retired after nationals last year, buried out from cutting to 133 and graduated.

Got a job teaching in South Carolina, coaching on the side and got re-energized. Entered Midlands unattached and took 4th.

Back with the Virginia team -- on weekends. Still teaching in South Carolina and is now taking UVa classes online to be eligible.

I can't say I feel bad for Wisconsin every time Lamont loses
Bono is pretty slimy. I never believed the Seth Gross back injury story which conveniently allowed him to medical RS and transfer to Wisconsin. Really screwed SDSU who took a chance on him after his arrest. I would not doubt Bono helped concoct that plan

At least he didn't redshirt every legitimate wrestler and then have them transfer en masse to Wisconsin.
I understand there is a model for such a move that is kept locked in a safe some place on a Big10 campus in Iowa.

#12 Peyton Hall vs. #22 Wyatt Sheets up now. 0-0 w/ 1:00 left in 1st. Decent action (shots and scrambles), then Hall w/ a TD and Sheets w/ an E to end the last 15 secs of the period. 2-1 Hall.

2nd: Hall takes bottom.
E Hall, 3-1.
Hall in deep, Sheets defends well, scramble, time eventually runs out.

3rd: Sheets takes bottom.
Hall riding well, Sheets seems to be fading.
E Sheets w/ 1:05 left, 3-2.
Hall in on a shot, scramble, converts, 5-2.
With RT, Hall takes it 6-2.
