They know it, in their heart of hearts, they know it.
They fight like hell to stay on the BOT, bending old rules and creating new ones, but still, Peetz is gone. Surma is gone. Frazier will soon be gone.
They feel it coming, and they think by getting off the board, they can avoid their day of judgment. But like Nuremberg, it is coming.
My theory, as I said in a prior post somewhere, is that the one who sleeps the worst these days is Peetz. Evil women are nowhere near as evil as evil men, and even evil women have more conscience. She is sweating, sleeping poorly, and CR is out here protecting her big ass as much as he can.
When the tide turns, she is going to be the one who starts it. Under oath, her facade is going to melt, and the others know it. They are desperate to keep that from happening.

Warning for what? Four years removed, thousands of documents and scores of depositions made public and not one scintilla of evidence suggesting any kind of Board impropriety.
Accordingly, I think your picture is more a depiction of pissed off Joebots closing in on their dissident leadership for promising something they clearly couldn't deliver for the simple reason it doesn't exist.

Yep. Nothing "improper" about Frazier sending (and explicitly endorsing) a Paterno-bashing magazine article to the "independent" Freeh investigators.
As usual, you misunderstand. I am not especially keen to actually have them heed this warning. I just want them to know, when this is over, that I gave fair warning.

We may find out this week why Baldwin was brought on board. Perhaps some folks knew a great deal more than they profess. It would shock me.....if any trustee has lied!

There has been plenty already made public for them to hang their heads in shame. And certainly by the way the fight to retain cabal-like control over a non-profit educational institution clearly indicates fear !

Some folks act like the BOT did something unexpected in firing JVP but if you read what reaction Scott Paterno had after he read the presentment and before the BOT did anything you see that Scott knew just from reading the presentment what was likely coming. Any governing body in that position would have had to at a minimum suspend the HC in question, which in the case of JVP would have been equivalent to endings his career.
OK. Here's another one: Frazier allowing Emmert et al to meddle in what had been sold to the general public as an "independent" investigation.

Oh wait, maybe he is taking it from the day they were briefed about Sandusky in May of 2011 and NONE of them had ANY questions for their briefers. Only two reasons not to ask a question--either you already know the answer, or you just don't care. Or maybe he is taking it from the day the Pennlive story appeared and they did nothing--most of them later claimed not to have even known about the Pennlive story at all. Seems like if you were a trustee of a 4 billion dollar org, you might want to set up a google alert. HAA.
I'd say gross negligence of ponying up hundreds of millions of dollars before anyone associated with PSU has had their own due process qualifies as dereliction of fiduciary responsibility, made worse by the continued stonewalling of any attempt to examine whether any of that is justified. It's not what's been turned over that matters after 4 years - it's what they're fighting tooth and nail to keep from seeing the light of day.
