Now CB Worley

Was he an expected casualty? Don't recall him playing much.
I believe he red-shirted his freshmen year after recovering from an acl in his senior year of HS. Not sure how much of a loss this is, but I don't think it was expected.

I'm guessing today was the day the coaches told those who are transferring to go public. I wouldn't be surprised by 5 more departures today. Some leaving football for good.

bmw199, your not usually one to hold things close to the vest, share what you think.

We seem crowded at running back. I've said for a while I didn't think that many RS Jrs were coming back, so far only 2 have left.

Worley is understandable, a few guys ahead of him his own age or younger, Reeder is a head scratcher.

Here is my two cents and this will confirm I know nothing.....perhaps there are better players and potentially better recruits in the pipeline and a need to make room for them. Remember when OB had the frank conversation with the QB Stevens (?) and he transferred to South Florida. Perhaps more of the same happening during this recruiting dead period.

I'd be more concerned about Reeder if he was transferring to another P5. Seems clear to me that he wants to play with his brother at his dad's alma mater and close to home. Weird to see a starter transfer to Delaware, but makes sense with the context

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see some of the RB's move on. I just hope Robinson is not one of them.

Reports out of scout team were that he was going to be a factor next year, so I would be shocked. They saved his RS for a reason.

A general side note, no one from 2015 or after OB 2014 commit has transferred. Basically everyone knew there would be coaching change attrition.

Coaches have commended Worley's work in recovering from his injury, but the competition at CB will be fierce. Even the commit McPherson looks (from what I saw of him in the all star game) to be a big, athletic CB that may see the field in 2016.

I wish this young man success and hope he finds a great place to continue his education and fulfill his football dreams !!

When CJF had his post season presser, he mentioned that he was going to have some "hard conversations" with players and coaches. Clearly, behind the happy face and positivity he puts on, he made his feelings known. And, in some cases, may have ruffled some feathers.

I wish these kids well. I hope we treated them right.

This is when players are "cleared out" to make room for new recruits. This isn't a big deal, every program has this kind of turnover.

Yesterday was the first day of classes at PSU. So, if guys are leaving and want to get into their new school for spring semester they need to do it now. Thus, the announcements this week.

People would have been wondering when these guys were not around the PSU campus.

Or a mass exodus of players who thought they had a chance to play under the coaches who have now left. I haven't seen any OL leave. That is because they couldn't even make the bench at a FBS school.
Still 0 players recruited by Franklin to transfer

Darn, you are testing my memory; who was the all world QB who went to FSU. Didn't do anything as a QB but if I recall became a military hero.

You thinking of Dan Kendra... QB out of Bethlehem Catholic? Went to FSU, ended up going to Navy Seal training but eventually DOR'd, i believe.

Dan Kendra was the PA QB recruit who spurned PSU to go to FSU. I don't recall anything about him being a military hero though...
