Now I know why Gable didn't go to OSU...

Interestingly enough, the strength coach at App State does not believe in lifting to failure either. Maybe this is more prevalent than we know.

I’m still undecided on what works best for me:
• 5 reps of 5oz
vs.
• 4 reps of 12oz
vs.
• 2-3 reps of 16oz

For those wondering, 1 rep of 64oz is no longer part of the program.

Maxing should be done in a very controlled environment and isn't part of anyone's regular routine. The NFL only puts 225 on the bench to test strength. Clearly Gable made a commitment to moving some iron. The Cassar plan works
