It's the number one most important factor for this team, and it's success. Find a way to force more turnovers. Did you know: Marcus Allen, who is one hell of a football player, does not have an interception in his career so far? First game vs Akron would be a great time to end that streak. NEED to create a better pass rush. Simmons could be a factor, and so could Toney. Bucholz and Miller could play a part. A better inside push, Cothran and Cothren and Givens and Windsor, all advancing in skills and strength. Farmer now up to 230, Cam Brown with another year of experience. In comes Jarvis Miller to see pt. Manny Bowen and Jason Cabinda on the occasional blitz. A better pass rush could mean more turnovers.

CREATE TURNOVERS, and this could be the final hurdle between this team and a birth in the National playoff this year.

Offensive line gels? Yes, important
Special teams get better? Yep.
We find that playmaker to step up where Godwin left off? Sure
This secondary takes a step forward? Of course

But, we need to create turnovers, I think that is numero uno.

Number one is creating a dominant offensive line. After the past few years, I want to see that they can consistently open up holes for Barkley to run through.

That's up there, but we MUST force more turnovers this year.

The team needs to show up for 60 minutes each game and not just the second 30 minutes each game.

Improved running and not being tackled for a loss allowing 3rd down conversions by either run or pass at will. Sorry for the long all inclusive statement but if we run better and convert on third downs with our great stable of running backs led by a highly improved OL we will increase our time of possession and keep the other team's offense off of the field.

That will create domination!

always wonder, when you face really great offenses, especially in the NFL, why you don't play for the turnover from the their 40 to your own 20. From there, play red zone defense. It is so hard to defend the middle of the field, just go for the turnover.

When you think the game has evolved, you see baseball go to a whole new thing by playing "the shift" on 60% of batters these days. Three years ago, it was like 5% and seems to have made a major impact on batting averages.
