Numbers on helmets

I wonder if CJF has thought at all about putting numbers back on the helmets. Back in April, Town & Gown had this pic on the cover:

which got me wondering if there was something in the works. I realize the 15 is just marking the year, but thought maybe it was meant as a little hint of something to come. Anyway, I'm guessing that if numbers were coming back too, we would have heard about it as part of the jersey announcement.

Well, I was going to have some fun with this pic from earlier today on Twitter and the placement of the helmet in the picture, but decided a board meltdown may not be wise. I just found it curious to see that helmet with number in the foreground, but really think this is just for recruiting classes to sign (see the '15 in the op)

Fyi: That helmet is a ten year old Schutt DNA that we don't even use anymore... Was probably collecting dust somewhere... Need neutral grey facemasks before we plop numbers on the helmets
