NYC Mayor Is Watching His Career Fall Apart
New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ approval rating has dropped to a record low of 28% among registered voters, according to a recent Quinnipiac University poll.
The survey highlights widespread disapproval of his handling of key issues, with particularly low ratings for crime, public schools, immigration, and the city budget.
Adams’ administration has also faced challenges due to a political scandal involving an FBI probe into his campaign finances and a sexual assault accusation.
“The mayor does not know who this person is. If they ever met, he doesn’t recall it, wrote Adams’ spokesperson in response to the allegations.
“But he would never do anything to physically harm another person and vigorously denies any such claim,” they continued.
Additionally, the mayor has been embroiled in a feud over the migrant crisis with Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the White House.
