- Temple best team in PA this year
- Rhane & Limegrover should not be brought back for next season. In fact I would consider making a change now. Seiser/Bowen call plays and Rhane back to QB coach.
- CJF should be on the phone looking for a new OL coach
- This team will struggle @ Maryland and might lose.
- Why was Noah Cain frozen out from play after his terrific series?
- Too much rotation with key players on sidelines during critical moments (especially DBs). Where was Castro-Fields in the last series?
- I thought this team would challenge for B1G East title, but now realize I was buying into hype.
- The RPO must go as primary scheme. It is too dependent on explosive plays
--- Note: We still csn't close out games by controlling LOS. Recipe for disaster in B1G.
Only positives: Noah Cain, Journey Brown and Micah Parsons, Jordan Stoudt.
Grades:
Offensive play calling (F)
OL (D)
Run blocking (D)
Pass protection (D)
QB (C)
RBs (B)
Wrs (C) spacing and drops were problems
TE (hard to rate - too little action to eval)
DEs (D) very little pressure
DTs (C) stout against run but weak pressure up the middle, couldn't collapse the pocket)
LBers (Micah A, the rest C). Bad in pass coverage.
Safeties (Garrett Taylor B, the rest D) Looking lost out there.
DBs (C) Losing out on jump balls and losing track of their coverage.
Special Teams (A - Jordan Stoudt - Wow!!)
