Barkley played what 1 1/2 - 2 games maybe, out of 5? If he is healthy and plays the rest of the year, our offense will improve. Barkley will make us a TD better at the least. Our scoring will go up. Let things fall into place. If he was 100% and played against Army, we would have scored in the 30's. The guy is just that good.
Our offense could not get going against Army, because we had no running game. N.Scott, J. Thomas, M. Allen are just not that great. I know it's not our only problem and I totally agree we have a predictable and unimaginative offense. But having Barkley in there makes up for a lot of that, and in turn will make other areas of weakness better.
