So, if those that evaluate this offense effectively can be objective - look at the situation this staff, namely the offensive side of the ball is facing.
They have a highly-talented, NFL caliber QB. The best offense for this style of QB is big on big pass pro with releasing the TE or RB with multiple concept reads passing down field. A run game that can zone block and compliment the passing game. It works wonders when the OL can protect and establish a run game.
They can't fully implement this offensive style to suit Hack's game and the WRs due to the ineffectiveness of the OL due to injuries, lack of recruiting during sanctions, two DL converted to OL.
They have an OL that forces them to scheme vs. defensive fronts just to get an advantage at the LOS - double teams, pulls - kickouts and lead throughs. Without Barkley and arguably Lynch, they can't execute this because the backs don't hit the hole quick enough.

So, what would you do? Stay with the pro style attack and get your QB sacked numerous times and not be able to run it full tilt due to having TE/RBs help with pass pro? Or limit the passing game, continue to develop the OL and hope that your RBs produce to keep the chains moving?

There is not a simple solution until a few recruiting classes rotate through and Coach Franklin is able to fully implement his offense. On a side note, we are getting to the point (or were without injuries) to doing this on defense and special teams. Next year, will be better and so will the year's after that.
Do yourself a favor and check out the scholarship roster Ryan has posted on here.... seriously, be happy we are winning. We have a roster of 63 freshmen and sophomores..no matter how many stars they have or how good they are they aren't ready yet... yet we still are 4-1.

Enjoy the game Saturday.
