My biggest concern is the offensive line. We were mauled by the Michigan defense front. Even a RB as talented as Barkley had no chance. They are not rookies anymore. Most of these guys have started for the better part of two years. I really hate to criticize college players but I do not understand why they are not improving. I know that Nelson is banged up but what else is going on? Is it coaching or are they just not good athletes?
If we do not get better offensive line play next year we may actually take a step back with a new QB. I have no confidence that we will improve if we do not see significant contributions from freshmen and RS freshmen on the O-line next year.
