On one play Broc Huard showed on teleprompter why Hack could not complete a pass. His words were "poor route structure" and outlined receivers in same general area and no one breaking into any other zones or areas. Seeing that my thought was poor offensive coaching that does not know how to game plan routes for the receivers. There are always spaces in a defense to get someone open. Heck Temple completed the same mid range drag/ crossing route several times after line backer blitzed. That is coaching and game planning. And having watched PSU football since 1968, I can honestly say this was the worst played and coached game I have ever seen. Worse than 6-4. At least we were in that game and had chances to win. This game we were never in after 1st Q.

PSU countered with 20 jet sweeps / fake jet sweeps on the first play of each series....... Have to get the ball into the play makers hands.........

inspector Clouseau still looking for an actual game plan

I'm still not sold on Lynch and don't understand why we didn't use more RB's. Sure he had a TD but Julius could have ran one through that hole. Allen looked much quicker to the hole, and Polk showed the burners but Lynch just looks like a pedestrian RB to me. Was hoping to see Barkley, no idea why we didn't, JF has already stated he'd play this year

I have no idea what their offense is even supposed to look like. That was not just sanctions that was square peg in a round hole. Pathetic is the only appropriate word I can come up with. This is 90 percent on the staff. I'm Done.

given the staff capability/philosophy, our talent and how the DEF are scheming us, I think our best shot to win games is having the QB play more mobile. That means some planned runs, sprint outs and even some read option plays. This scheme is very forgiving for a team with our weakness.

If Temple played tOSU next, would they use the same scheme they did on us? my guess is they would play with very cautious pressure on def.
