Brown was running well. No reason to take him out there. If your going to sub, put in Cain.
I'm sorry, but when Slade is in the game... I feel like our offense is limited. We are on game 6 now and this trend continues.
Its really shocking that with the immense amount of talent on this team, we just cannot play sound football and block when needed. I'm so sick of the OL problems year after year.
Are we just so scared of transfer portal that we will continue to give all 4 rbs work?
If you want to blame someone for that run have a look at what our left guard does. Maybe it's coaching. I don't know. But they don't drive block anyone even when they pull to block a run.
Blackledge’s comment indicated no one there could find anything like it, and I rewatched it 4 times and there’s a space between them at all times. No grab, no pulling, no hesitation or redirection by the receiver. But again, there was a moment where they went off screen. However, there simply wasn’t enough time between that and the eventual sack to hold anyone. Even if Reid miraculously grabbed the receiver the instant they went out of view, the QB was ducking right after that.
1st down on their own 3 for Iowa, and a big hole in the middle of the line, and Iowa gains 9. smh
