This is just the start with OSU, and I don't blame any of them who decide to do this. They've been given a undeserved set of cards by the cowards who run this conference. I respect OSU's program and, let's face it, if players from other Big 10 schools decided to opt out, it was only a matter of time before a program that's run like a semi-pro operation was going to have players opt out.Several posters on this board told me it was only PSU players that do this.
I’d have to argue that one with you. There’s not a semi-pro program in the World as well run or funded as OSU football. In point of fact, they are probably better funded and run then a few NFL franchises. This is just the start with OSU, and I don't blame any of them who decide to do this. Judging by where the elite talent ends up, the “well funded“ programs are Bama, Ohio State, Georgia, LSU, Clemson, and Oklahoma. Programs toeing the line are Oregon, Florida, USC, FSU, Texas, and A&M. Penn State, Michigan, Washington, ND, Wisky, etc.... will never be in that bunch. Just not willing to cross the line.
