Ohio State - TCU game thread

Their offense looks hard to stop but not yet clicking on all cylinders.

Their defense looks big, strong, and slow.

This is not anywhere near the best team OSU has produced.

But, I'm not sure how our defense will fare.

Haskins tonight

5 for 10 so far. Has not scrambled.

7 for 13, 113 yards, no touchdowns, no scrambles, 1 for 5 on third down. But hey, Herbie just compared him to McSorley.

Don’t shoot me, but O$U is winning the Dr. Pepper MNC

Life is unfair and it is evident that cheating pays.

They have much talent and even the “small breaks” are breaking their way.

If this is the defense Tosu is bringing to Happy Piss Balloon Valley, I predict they'll have some problems.

OSU looks weak on D. There were some cracks evident in their D in their first game as well despite the blowout. I am liking our chances regardless what happens the rest if the way in this game.

So, like ND

Like when we opened the season against Arizona in 1999. They were ranked #3 but OMG that was an awful team. Canidate was supposed to win the Heisman, LOL. The game went something like today's game. PSU scored at will. And PSU's offense was not even good.

Haskins is going to be a good one. Seems very calm and collected. Regardless of the outcome tonight, OSU has their QB.

Game matters: 3 way tie is decided by overall record. All conference records being equal, team with best non conference record gets the division title.

He can sling it, no doubt about it.

But that guy is a statue back there. You know when they run out of their shotgun set that he’s giving it to Dobbins/Weber every time. TCU has a great defensive blueprint - bring the kitchen and don’t let him get comfortable back there. Hopefully we can generate more of a pass rush this time around.

He almost got his knees blown out by standing flat-footed in the pocket early in the 1sr quarter against a blitzing TCU LB’er.

Yep, pocket QB. If he has time, he'll be tough to beat back there.
