I thought now might be a good time to have a general discussion here, and it might be of some real value as we embark on eight months of offseason, so I took the time to do a little film cutting session, presented here for your perusal.
It is film of every Trace McSorley designed run, pass, or scramble from the bowl game last weekend. I believe 35 plays in total. What'd I'd like to do here is move past the emotion, the predictions, the hate or love, and just get to some simple, fair analysis of what's presented on the film.
So as best as possible, put away your preconceptions - positive or negative - and then let's get into the meat of your impressions.
For the record, the stat line says he finished completing 14 of 27 passes for 142 yards and a pair of touchdowns, to go along with his seven carries for 31 yards on the ground.
